Neil Hoyt joined the IMS Expert Services team
in 2003 after a 21-year career in sports management. He serves
as Client Manager assisting litigating attorneys locating qualified
expert witnesses or case consultants. Neil works with attorneys
in finding experts that cover a broad scope of narrow functions,
such as breach of contract, breach of warranty, insurance investment
transactions, valuation, damages, and construction defects,
product liability and false advertising, personal injury defense,
bankruptcy, patent infringement, and misappropriation of trade
secrets.
Before he came to IMS ExpertServices, Neil was the
Vice President of Business Operations for the Pensacola
Ice Pilots, a member of the East Coast Hockey League, and an
arena football team. Neil oversaw all aspects of business operations
for the two teams, which also included handling all the teams'
legal affairs. Neil was instrumental in the start-up of both
franchises, from the design and registering of each team's
intellectual property, to the marketing and execution of their
business plan and team operations.
"As a Client Manager with IMS Expert Services, my client
and I are supported by the best expert search team in the industry."
Neil began his career in sports with the Atlanta Braves in
1982. After an eight-year stint with the Braves organization,
he became the Vice President of Marketing for the New York
Mets baseball fantasy camp. After ten years in baseball, he
joined the Atlanta Knights of the International Hockey League
in 1992.
Neil currently serves as a Board Member on the University of
West Florida's College of Business Advisory Council and has
served as a past Board Member for the Pensacola Sports Association
and Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida. Neil also volunteers
his spare time to serve for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
