Submit an Article

We encourage both attorneys and experts to participate and share articles on the BullsEye blog.  In addition to leaving comments, you can submit articles.

We accept articles on the impact of recent rulings affecting the use of experts, ethical issues in the use of expert witnesses, and the effective use of experts and consultants.  If you have an anecdotal article you would like to share, we also accept stories relating to experts and the situations they frequently face.

BullsEye’s monthly digest email has a distribution of approximately 40,000 litigators, primarily within the AmLaw 200, and nearly 20,000 best-of-class experts. Writing for the BullsEye allows you to bolster your name recognition and publish content relevant to the legal industry.

The Specifics

  • Articles should be 450 to 850 words
  • Avoid long paragraphs and break the content up with subheadings or bullets if appropriate
  • Use plain English, and if you must use technical terms, explain their meaning in plain English
  • Don’t use footnotes, and don’t use citations within the text unless it is absolutely necessary
  • Incorporate links when referring to outside resources or websites

Please email completed articles and article ideas to editor@ims-expertservices.com.

  1. Do you accept articles that have been published elsewhere, such as a bar association magazine?

  2. Sheila,

We prefer previously unpublished articles but are willing to consider articles that have been published in print, such as a bar association magazine. The main consideration is that the article be relevant to our audience.
