Description:
IMS Expert Services is the leading expert witness and litigation
consultant search firm in the industry and the choice of over
90 of the AmLaw 100. We conduct custom searches to locate and
deliver only the best expert witnesses for attorneys and their
clients across any industry or discipline.
Summary:
We are currently seeking a seasoned, high-energy Expert Advocate.
This position works with our recruiters to develop and maintain
relationships with experts who are currently engaged or between
engagements. Excellent organization and people skills are
critical. The position is further expected to turn relationships
with experts into search opportunities with other law firms
and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Regular contact with all active experts
- Answering questions regarding engagement status and troubleshooting
in the area of communication, invoicing and contracting issues
between law firm and expert
- Strengthening IMS’ brand and image within the expert
community
- Identifying opportunities through expert relationships

- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Education/Experience:
We are looking for a combination of education and experience
that would provide the required skills and knowledge for successful
performance. Typical qualifications and skills would be:
- Associate or bachelors degree is required
- B.A. / B.S. or Post Graduate degree in business, marketing,
law, or related area preferred
- Five + years of experience in human resources, business
development or marketing
- Law or consulting firm experience a plus
- Prior experience with building and executing incentive
programs a plus
The successful candidate will be motivated,
creative, analytical and efficient, and will have superior organizational
and detail skills. Must be able to work independently with little
or no supervision. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
