New Media Specialist
Pensacola, FL Office Location
The nation’s top law firms and their Fortune 500 clients have
been reaching out to IMS ExpertServices for their expert
witness needs since 1992. As our New Media Specialist, you will create
and oversee all aspects of our corporate social media initiatives
as well as the corporate voice.
You will be responsible for maintaining
the IMS corporate voice and tone across all online and some print
mediums. Working with vendors and internal staff, you will create
and implement both a short and long term social media plan of action.
As
a crucial part of the marketing department, you will ensure that
IMS staff has fully functional, branded and professional social media
profiles. You will also lead the continued development and implementation
of our internal Wiki.
You will have the opportunity to create regular
IMS blog content, giving you a direct role in solidifying our reputation
as a trusted resource and voice within the industry. You will also
develop a microblogging presence through daily posts on Twitter and
lead the creation of a social media press room which will function
as the primary social media resource for our clients and experts
seeking information through new media venues.

Professional Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of corporate social media
- Self-motivated and efficient
- Proven ability to establish and maintain a voice in writing
- Familiar with the basic concepts of SEO (search engine optimization)
- Must have excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in writing for the web and utilizing social
media platforms for business
- Significant Internet and email familiarity
