Do you enjoy networking with others, learning new things and working in a fast-paced, energetic environment?  Are you great at project management and even better at working with people? IMS ExpertServices is currently looking for a high-energy Recruiter to join our fulfillment team.
 
In a typical day as a Recruiter, you will be talking to attorneys to determine case needs, interviewing experts to evaluate credentials and writing up proposals to present the best candidates. Your objective is to identify a short list of approximately two to five candidates who are highly qualified and meet the specific needs of the case.
Key Responsibilities include:

• Reading and understanding case summaries and identifying the qualifying characteristics of the experts needed for each case
• Interviewing candidates to determine appropriate fit with the needs of the job
• Collecting CVs, rates, references and other information
• Entering and maintaining expert information into a proprietary database
• Participation with research and sales teams in project fulfillment
• Drafting written proposals to attorneys
• Conducting oral proposals to attorneys and answering client manager/attorney/ client questions as required
• Assisting in setting up attorney/candidate interviews
• Negotiating expert contracts to include interface with client manager to ensure that expert contracts comply with attorney/client contracts
• Expert relations during the search, evaluation and engagement stages

Professional Skill Requirements:

• An extremely quick learner with the ability to grasp litigation concepts and become proficient in new scientific, technical and business topics
• Skilled in conducting telephone interviews
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Ability to work quickly and under tight delivery deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Education/Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications and skills would be:

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a recruiting and/or sales related function
• BS/BA degree required
• Working knowledge of the internet and search engines
• Hands-on experience in creating special purpose project teams
• Law/consulting firm experience preferred
• Solid experience with Contact Management Database programs a must
