IMS Expert Services is the leading expert witness and litigation consultant search firm in the industry and the choice of over 90 of the AmLaw Top 100 largest law firms in the country. We conduct custom searches to deliver to attorneys and their clients the best expert witnesses in any industry or discipline.

Summary:
We are currently seeking a seasoned, high-energy Recruiter to work with our research team in locating and qualifying experts to work in support of our clients in litigation matters. In this fast-paced environment, Recruiters use many resources to locate and qualify experts in literally any industry or discipline, anywhere in the world. Computer, Internet, Database and E-Mail experience is critical.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Reading and understanding case descriptions and identifying the qualifying characteristics of the experts needed
• Coordinating with the research team to identify potential expert candidates
• Conducting telephone interviews to fully qualify each candidate
• Entering all pertinent data into a propriety database
• Selecting the short list of candidates to be presented to the client
• Preparing proposal documents containing expert resumes and bids
• Written and Oral presentations to attorneys/clients

Professional Skills Requirements:

• An extremely quick learner with the ability to grasp litigation concepts and become proficient in new scientific, technical and business topics
• Skilled in conducting telephone interviews
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Ability to work quickly and under tight delivery deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Education/Experience:
We are looking for a combination of education and experience that will provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance. Typical qualifications and skills would be:

• Five + years experience in recruiting
• Bachelors degree in a business, science or technical-related field, required
• Five + years of experience in human resources, business development or marketing
• Law or consulting firm experience a plus
• Prior experience with building and executing incentive programs a plus

The successful candidate will be motivated, creative, analytical and efficient, and will have superior organizational and detail skills. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, 401k and bonus incentive.
