Research Associate
Pensacola, FL Office Location

Are you the person everyone goes to with questions? Do you love the challenge of finding information that can’t be found?  Do you know your way around the internet? IMS ExpertServices is looking for a tenacious, intuitive Research Associate to help us locate the best experts for our clients. In this role, you will search through databases and the internet to locate specialists in literally any industry or discipline.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Reading and understanding case summaries and identifying the qualifying characteristics of the experts needed for each case
• Researching across numerous sources to identify potential expert candidates
• Entering and maintaining expert information into a proprietary database
• Participation with recruiting and sales teams in project fulfillment

Professional Skill Requirements:

• Highly experienced in internet search engines
• Ability to work quickly and under tight delivery deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in a Microsoft Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Education/Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications and skills would be:

• Five + years working or academic experience with 1+ years of research experience preferred
• Associate or bachelors degree in a business, legal, library science or technical-related field, highly preferred

The successful candidate will be motivated, creative, analytical and efficient, and will have superior organizational and detail skills. This individual must be comfortable and confident researching fields and topics that they may know little or nothing about. This individual must be able to work independently with individual initiative and a dedication to excellence. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
