Description:
IMS Expert Services is a leading search firm providing expert
witness and consultant services to the top 100 litigating firms
in the country. We have been delivering expert witness and
interim consulting solutions since 1992. We are energetic,

Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned, high-energy Research Associate to
work with our recruiters in locating and qualifying experts
to work in support of our clients major litigation cases. Computer,
Internet, Database and E-Mail experience is critical. The position
encompasses a fast paced environment utilizing many resources
to locate specialists in literally any industry or discipline.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Reading and understanding case summaries and identifying
the qualifying characteristics of the experts needed for
each case
- Researching across numerous sources to identify potential
expert candidates
- Entering and maintaining expert information into a propriety
database
- Preparing proposal documents containing expert resumes
and bids
- Assisting fulfillment managers in vetting, qualifying and
preparing bids
Professional Skills Requirements:
- Highly experienced in search engines
- Proficient in a Microsoft Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Ability to work quickly and under tight delivery deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Education/Experience:
We are looking for a combination of education and experience
that will provide the required skill and knowledge for
successful performance. Typical qualifications and skills
would be:
- Five + years experience in recruiting
- Associate or bachelors degree in a business, library
science or technical-related field, required
- Working knowledge of the Internet and Search Engines
is required
- Deep Internet research experience required
- Law or consulting firm experience a plus
- Experience with contact management database programs
a plus
- AIRS CIR certification a plus
The successful candidate will be motivated, creative, analytical
and efficient, and will have superior organizational and detail
skills. This individual must be comfortable and confident researching
fields and topics that they may know little or nothing about.
This individual must be able to work independently with individual
initiative and a dedication to excellence. Salary will be commensurate
