As a Researcher, you are responsible for partnering and working side-by-side with Recruiters and Client Managers in locating and qualifying experts to work in support of our clients’ major litigation cases. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience required in the use of computer, Internet, database and candidate sourcing tools. The position encompasses a fast-paced use of the internet to locate specialists in literally any industry or discipline.

Successful candidates will be motivated, creative, analytical and efficient, and will have superior organizational and detail skills. This individual must be comfortable and confident researching fields and topics that they may know little or nothing about. This individual must be able to work independently with individual initiative and a dedication to excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities include:

Reading and understanding case summaries and identifying the qualifying characteristics of the experts needed for each case
Research across numerous sources to identify potential expert candidates
Entering and maintaining expert contact information into a proprietary database

The following skills and experience are required:

Highly proficient in search engines and advanced Internet research
An extremely quick learner with the ability to grasp litigation concepts and become proficient in new technical, scientific and business topics
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work quickly and under tight delivery deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Education/Experience:

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Internet research and/or sourcing
BS/BA preferred
Deep Internet research experience a must
Experience in a Law/Consulting firm OR Recruiting/Staffing firm a plus
Experience with Contact Management Database programs preferred
