NLJ Award - IMS ExpertServices Voted Best Expert Witness Provider by the National Law Journal

Pharmaceutical Distribution Expert in Diversion of Pharmaceutical Products

Case Description:

A pharmaceutical distribution expert was required to describe how pharmaceutical products are diverted to illegal markets during the distribution process for a class action suit involving a major pharmaceutical manufacturer. The prescription drug in question was sold to physicians cheaper than to drug wholesalers. Physicians all over the country were buying excessive amounts of the drug, in some cases obtaining drug wholesale licenses to sell these products back into the market, while others simply sold the drugs with no license to drug wholesalers or unlicensed individuals willing to violate both state and federal law.

IMS ExpertServices sought an expert who understood how diversion of products works in the pharmaceutical distribution industry and could address the prescription drug diversion in this case.
