This fabric flammability expert has over 30 years of experience in the testing and analysis of textiles and apparel. As a consultant, she advises domestic and international textile laboratories on the accuracy of testing procedures and consistency of test results and reporting. Prior to consulting, she performed testing and analysis, including fabric flammability tests, on textiles for a major retail corporation. She is an adjunct professor, teaching courses in textiles and apparel. As an active member of the ASTM (formerly the American Society for Testing and Materials) and the American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists (AATCC), she serves on committees including those concerned with the fabric flammability specifications for nightwear. She has reviewed hundreds of fabric flammability test reports and performed flammability tests.
