IMS ExpertServices™ President Bill Wein Speaks at CIE Entrepreneurial Insight Panel

PENSACOLA, FL, April 5, 2010 – IMS ExpertServices President Bill Wein recently participated in the Entrepreneurial Insight panel at the Gulf Coast Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE). The event was held on March 18 at the PJC Downtown Center.

Wein was joined by Dan Gardner, president of Compass Solar, and Mike Hicks, president and CEO of Hixardt Technologies, Inc. Moderated by Larry Strain, executive director of the UWF Small Business Development Center, the panel featured a discussion on entrepreneurial topics such as financial management principles, business operations, marketing and lessons learned. The panel members also participated in a Q&A session with the various entrepreneurs in attendance.

“I was flattered and grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with these up and coming entrepreneurs,” said Wein. “At IMS, we appreciate any chance we have to give back to the community, and imparting some hard-earned wisdom to other local entrepreneurs is a great way to help the local business community thrive.”

The Gulf Coast CIE is a partnership between the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Pensacola Junior College that offers support and education to technology-based entrepreneurs in an effort to encourage and sustain long-term economic growth in the Pensacola area.
