PENSACOLA, Florida – November 7, 2018 – Over 2,000 attendees will be present at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) annual convention. The 2018 convention marks the 30th for NAPABA’s annual discussion of top attorneys and litigators from the Asian Pacific American community. Attendees will convene for discussion on topics important to intellectual property law and innovation, including blockchain and artificial intelligence, and agenda items relevant to the broader legal community such as diversity and inclusion.
This year also marks the seventh year of sponsoring the NAPABA annual convention for IMS ExpertServices. In addition to offering over 35 CLE opportunities for attendees, the convention facilitates dialogue around IP standards, practices, and technological disruptions pertaining to the legal industry. IMS will sponsor the IP Committee Reception again this year on Friday, November 9.
“We are honored to sponsor the NAPABA Convention for our seventh year,” remarks Marie- Petra Adams, Director of Corporate Relations & Strategic Partnerships. “It’s a special moment for the NAPABA community, celebrating the 30th year of convening the community around important topics to the legal and commercial litigation community. We’re excited to engage in discussions this year about topics of key importance to our own business and that of our clients, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, followed by diversity and inclusion.”
Joining Adams for the NAPABA convention is Alan Ritchie, a Senior Client Manager who has facilitated engagements with top subject matter experts across emerging IP sectors for many of the top 5% of American law firms.
