IMS Sees Extensive Growth
PENSACOLA, Fla. - The struggling economy is getting back on its feet and companies in the Pensacola area are helping it happen. IMS ExpertServices has seen a significant increase in its number of employees in the last year, hiring more than a dozen people in high-wage positions. In the last month alone, IMS has added three members to its client development team, one member to its fulfillment team and a Human Resources Manager.
Monique Ricker joins IMS in the role of Account Director with a focus on Washington D.C. She has a Juris Doctor and more than a decade of sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining IMS, she provided training to the government sector, marketed legal services through Thomson Reuters and worked for the Bureau of National Affairs.
Tim Horigan also joins IMS as an Account Director with a focus on New York City. In this role, Horigan will work directly with attorneys at New York law offices to provide expert search services. With more than 20 years of sales experience primarily in the legal industry, Horigan has extensive experience working with attorneys to enhance their practice. He has held positions with Thomson-West, Firmex Inc., and most recently with Oce Business Services.
At the Pensacola headquarters, Chuck Cantwell joins IMS as a Client Manager. As a member of the IMS client development team, Cantwell works directly with AmLaw 100 attorneys across the country to connect them with best-of-class experts. He’s held positions with Johnson & Johnson and Thomson-West and received multiple awards for his achievements at these companies.
As a Recruiter, Adam Schweigert locates experts and matches them with the attorneys who need them. Previously, he held a variety of positions in the medical and financial industries. While a Regional Manager with Emcare Physician Services, he was responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and maintaining ten full-time emergency department rosters.
Heather Roberts joins IMS ExpertServices as Human Resources Manager. Between obtaining a B.S. in Public Relations and an M.S. in Human Resources Management, Roberts held executive recruiting positions requiring similar skills to IMS’s core business. Prior to joining IMS, she was the Director of Human Resources at Special Operations Technology, Inc. in Maryland.
Growth as a Trend
In addition to the individuals listed above, IMS has hired a number of other people. The accounting department has seen growth, with Judy Robinson promoted to Accounting Manager and Tracie Polk hired as Accounting Specialist.
Early this month, Amanda Kindle joined the IMS team as Database Administrator. In the few months prior to August, IMS also hired Paul Bernardini as Vice President of Client Development, Mary Ann Diaz as Sales Administrator, and Megan Brammer as Marketing Administrator.
This increase in employees is part of a larger company trend towards growth. For the last five years, IMS has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America.
With open positions in their client development, research and fulfillment departments, IMS is well on its way to continued growth.
