Billing Associate

Essential Duties:

  • Process incoming expert invoices
  • Create invoices for client billing
  • Load invoices and accruals/estimates into electronic billing portal
  • Audit rates and contracts for accuracy
  • Update billing instructions
  • Communicate with experts regarding submitted invoices
  • Assist in the collection process

  • Capable of working effectively under pressure while handling heavy workloads, multiple simultaneous projects, and time sensitive work constraints in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to take initiative to move projects forward and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Must be a self-starter, well-organized, extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to work closely with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates high level of positive energy and rive
  • Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality is critical for this position

    Education/ Experience Required:

    • Minimum of AA degree in Accounting required
    • Substitutions for degree requirement may be allowed with relevant experience
    • Minimum of five (5) or more years of business office accounting experience
    • Law/consulting firm accounting administration a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint) required
    • Collections experience preferred
    • Excellent typing and 10-key skills
    • Intacct experience a plus
