CDMA Expert in Wireless Standards
A CDMA expert in wireless standards was needed for a patent infringement case before the United States International Trade Commission. The plaintiff was a patent holding company and the defendants were several wireless communications companies. The plaintiff alleged that the defendants imported for sale products, including cellular phones and PDAs, into the United States that infringe two of their patents related to CDMA technology.
IMS ExpertServices was asked to find a CDMA expert who was involved in CDMA wireless standards development and testing in the mid to late 1990s. The expert would be asked to examine the patents and opine as to whether the products in question infringe upon the two patents.
