Credit Card Security Expert
A credit card security expert was needed with specific knowledge of Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) as it relates to the retaining and securing of credit card holder magnetic stripe information at point of sale (POS). The expert was needed for a class action case involving claims that cardholder data was breached allowing unauthorized access to cardholder information.
IMS ExpertServices was asked to find an expert with knowledge of industry standard policies and procedures for storing and safeguarding customer data obtained through credit and debit card transactions. The candidate was to be knowledgeable of PCI-DSS standards and cardholder information standards and hold board certification in information security.

This expert also holds several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Project Management Professional (PMP®). Internet Security Expert
Electronic commerce websites and has extensive experience with security standards, cryptology, and network firewalls to enhance data security and protect users. His background includes the spearheading of a project that garnered international attention examining internet infrastructure and how real systems used for online banking, navigation, advertising, and enhanced DVD and CD content expose unsuspecting consumers to risk. In the late 1990’s he founded an internet security company specializing in researching the side-effects of using the internet for large-scale computing and communications, and later organized a security company specializing in professional service practices in forensic computing and information security assurance. This expert holds a regular academic appointment at a major mid-western university and has served as a guest lecturer for universities around the country.
