Digital Display Expert in Digital Cameras
A digital display expert was needed for a patent infringement case involving digital camera technology. At issue was a patent for a hand-held, electronic, bi-directional, wireless electronic communication device. This device had a physical configuration that included a relatively large, constantly visible flat panel display and an alphanumeric keyboard that can be concealed until needed.
IMS ExpertServices sought a digital display expert who was familiar with digital camera technology during the 1994 – 1995 time frame. The expert was required to have expertise in the design and limitations of displays used in digital cameras during that period. The expert was requested to examine prior art, assist counsel with claims construction, and opine as to any infringement.
