He specializes in microcomputer applications, electrical - mechanical energy systems, design, application of power systems in hostile environments, failure analysis of electrical equipment, and fire science, including start relay failures. This expert has chaired many committees and standards groups within the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and American Petroleum Institute (API). In addition, he holds a B.S.E.E., Masters, and a Ph.D. in Engineering, and has authored and peer-reviewed numerous publications on topics involving electrical engineering and electrical systems applications.
