Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting Experts

Case Description:

A fraud examination expert or forensic accountant was needed for a wrongful termination suit. Plaintiff was terminated from his position with a pharmaceutical company for expense report fraud and theft. This occurred a month after the plaintiff filed a complaint with the state labor department which alleged harassing behavior and age discrimination toward him and other employees over forty years of age. The plaintiff maintained the expense reports were accurate. He then sued for workplace discrimination based on ageism and retaliatory termination.

IMS was asked to locate a fraud examination expert / forensic accountant to review weekly expense reports and other documents. Our client required an expert Certified Fraud Examiner and/or Certified Public Accountant.
