Geotechnical Engineering Expert
This expert has more than 25 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer specializing in landslides and mudslides. He is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer at a civil engineering company, and concurrently an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at a major northwestern university where he teaches the geotechnical differences between mudflows and landslides. This expert has held various geologist positions within the geotechnical engineering field, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE); American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM); International Society of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering (ISSMFE); and Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC).
