The Annual Taste for Justice will take place at Salvage One, 180 Hubbard Street, Chicago on March 1st, 2018 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Attendees will enjoy a tasting of wines from around the world and sample the best of Chicago’s local breweries, namely VIN Chicago, Lagunitas Brewery, and Vice District Brewery.

The CGLA is a Chicago based organization founded in 2014 that aims to provide professional support activities to individuals and families adversely affected by the criminal justice system. The organization takes a holistic approach by serving individuals and their families and tapping skilled attorneys and social workers from diverse backgrounds to help remove barriers to opportunity, prevent injustice after an arrest, support families affected by incarceration, and acquire stable housing for those most in need. Creative solutions are offered by an interdisciplinary team, creating an “inclusive model” that fits individual need.
